Chef Eric's roots are in Waupaca. His passion for food resonates in his technique and creativity. He believes in bringing out food's true flavors and using fresh ingredients sourced locally.

In 2010, Chef Eric received his A.A.S. Degree in Culinary Arts at Colorado Mountain College Culinary Institute.  While there, he worked at some of Colorado’s finest restaurants throughout the local resorts and hotels.  He is a Certified Sous Chef through the American Culinary Federation and has undergone further education including being Serve Safe Certified and a Certified Food Safety Manager through the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals.

After his schooling, Eric returned to Wisconsin. He followed his heart in August 2017 when he decided to open his own restaurant. That is how Sulten Belly was born and where he is bringing his passion for food to the public.
